"Services" refer to all transcription, subtitling, and related services provided by Captions.co.in.

By using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part, please refrain from using the website or services.

3. Scope of Services

​

We provide:

Transcription Services: Converting audio/video content into written text.

Subtitling Services: Creating and syncing subtitles for videos.

All deliverables are provided in digital format (e.g., .txt, .docx, .srt, .vtt) unless otherwise agreed.

4. User Responsibilities

​

By uploading files and engaging our services, you represent and warrant that:

You own or have legal rights to the content you provide.

The content does not violate any intellectual property rights or applicable laws.

The content does not contain abusive, illegal, or harmful material.

You are responsible for reviewing the final files and requesting any revisions within the revision window.

5. Turnaround Time

​

Delivery times will be communicated at the time of order confirmation and may vary depending on:

Length and complexity of content

Number of speakers

Language or special formatting requirements

While we strive to meet deadlines, unforeseen circumstances may occasionally cause delays.

6. Pricing and Payment

​

All prices are quoted in INR (Indian Rupees), unless otherwise specified.

Final pricing is agreed upon before the project starts.

Payment terms: 100% on delivery

Accepted payment methods: UPI, bank transfer, credit/debit cards (via payment gateways).

We reserve the right to suspend services for unpaid invoices.

7. Revisions and Refund Policy

​

Revisions: You are entitled to [1-2] free rounds of revision within [7] days of delivery.

Refunds: We offer refunds only in the following cases:

If the service is not delivered

If there is a major quality issue and we are unable to resolve it within a reasonable timeframe

Refund requests must be submitted via email within 10 days of delivery.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

​

You retain full ownership of your original audio/video content.

All transcriptions, captions, and subtitle files created by us will be your intellectual property once payment is completed.

We do not claim ownership of any content provided or generated for clients.

9. Confidentiality

​

All files and content submitted are treated as strictly confidential.

We do not share, sell, or distribute your content or personal data.

10. Limitation of Liability

​

Captions.co.in will not be held liable for:

Errors arising from poor-quality audio/video

Delays due to incorrect information or late file submissions

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service.

11. Termination

​

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services if:

Content violates laws or ethical standards

The client breaches these Terms

There is any misuse of our platform or team

12. Changes to These Terms

​

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date. Continued use of our services after any change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Alappuzha.
